Don't know if it still is, but it was for Xbox and PS4 yesterday as well. Annoyingly/hilariously both this and that Lego Ninjago game have remained £49.99 on Switch.

Fuck sake, Nintendo.

It’s not Nintendo’s decision. Publishers are free to chop 90%+ off on the eShop if they like, or even give games away (it does happen)!

Cosmic Star Heroine, an oldskool style JRPG is currently 80% off at £2.19 on the Switch. It's reviewed well, so may be worth a look if that's you're thing.

(It's been on my wishlist a while, but whilst it definitely looks like something I'd enjoy, and who can resist a bargain, I think I'm going to exercise some restraint at the moment seeing as I have such a backlog of things to play on the console as it is...)

Review here:

2064: Read Only Memories is £2.24 (80% off) on Switch. Just grabbed it, been after it a while. Very Snatcher inspired by the looks of it, adventure/visual novel type affair.

If you like Xcom style games, check out Hard West. I paid £7 a while back and had no regrets, but I've recently seen it as cheap at £2.50. It's Xcom with cowboys. (UPDATE: Hard West is currently £1.79! Unmissable at that price).

EDIT: Aha, how's Tardy? I keep looking at it in sales and wondering if it's any good. Looks OK.

Wuppo is only $1.49 (USD$0.99) on PSN right now. Everyone should go buy it, that game is seriously something special. Haven't heard of it? Barely anyone has, it seems. It's a game made by two Dutch game devs. The graphics are all hand-drawn, and the world is... Completely unique. Both adorable, and also surreal and absurd. Think Hamtaro meets Kafka.

The game starts with your main dude getting kicked out of his apartment for getting ice cream on the floor. And the entire plot is about trying to find a new home. Except you might accidentally save the world on the way there. It's great!

Yeah it's had good reviews, aside from the apparently fairly obnoxious microtransactions, but I usually find those easy to avoid. I'm hopeless at BBall games, mind. Really play them wrong, trying to tackle and stuff when I know that's not the game, really. I need to watch some tutorials because I'd really like to get in to it properly. Shame it's such a beast of an install too, I had to delete a lot of stuff to cram it on! Looks really nice, though.
