Just picked up a game called Sagebrush on Switch in the sale for £1.79.

Sounds pretty cool and it's reviewed fairly well. It's a 'walking simulator' in which you investigate an abandoned cult.
Inspired by real-world cults, Sagebrush is a first-person narrative-driven adventure game which thrusts players into the role of a truth-seeker who must investigate the tragic circumstances of the Perfect Heaven cult.

Set in New Mexico, players explore Black Sage Ranch, the former home of Father James, the revered prophet of the Perfect Heaven cult, in order to uncover the truth.

Features:
An Immersive, Lo-Fi 3D World
A Whole Compound to Explore
Moody, ambient soundtrack
Real world inspiration from apocalyptic cults

I still don't know what a zx spectrum is, but the amount of times it's been mentioned on the podcast I'd be remiss not to point this out: [Itch.io] The ZX Spectrum 40th Birthday Game Mix Tape (10 USD for 40 ZX Spectrum games, all money goes to charity): https://itch.io/b/1343/the-zx-spectrum- ... e-mix-tape

Day after I added NBA 2K22 to my Xbox wish list it popped up on Gamepass! Delightful!

Also, just noticed Yoku's Island Express coming to Games With Gold in May, amazing, if anyone hasn't played it yet I'd urge anyone to give it a go. It's just perfect from start to finish.

Loads of decent stuff on the eShop sale at the moment. I grabbed The Talos Principle, Gris, Stories Untold and The Little Acre (nice looking point and click adventure from Charles Cecil) for around £13 in total.

Some other cool stuff on sale too, Art Sqool and Dead End Job which I picked up for nothing because of gold points.

The Little Acre isn't really 'from' Charles Cecil, though I think he has a credit.

I interviewed writer Ben Clavin here:

The Portal Collection released for Switch and is only £13! Seems like a bargain, looking forward to playing these as I've only played some of the first one, years back on PC.

I picked up King of Fighters 15 on PS5 for £10 at Smyth's Toys yesterday. It was the last copy in the shop apparently. I've added it to the pile of fighting games that I enjoy playing but am very bad at.

I thought so yeah. It had been £20 for the last couple of visits and I was thinking about it then. I actually only popped in to pick up Cowabunga Collection on the way back home but found they'd moved KOF to the bargain bin. It reminded me of getting the Switch version of Two Point Hospital for £15 last year from the same place.

I promise I don't work for Smyths at all, it's just the easiest place to nip into on the way home for work for me!

I guess I'll have to download it and play through it again. That's my afternoon sorted. Cheers for the heads up.

Few Atlus RPGs going for absolute pennies on the PAL 3DS eShop. Persona Q and whatnot for 4 euro kind of cheap.

I could have sworn I heard the 3DS eShop closed ages back!

Whack of exclusives to hoover up in the interim. Got my eyes on Level 5's Guild releases and probably Denpa-Men as well, if anyone has any recommendations for either 3DS/Wii U shops.
