Re: Videogame Deals
The PSN+ advert in Retro Gamer mag already announced these by mistake
Another top month of freebs.

Another top month of freebs.
Re: Videogame Deals
For those who are interested 'up to 75%' off some games at GOG:-http://www.gog.com/ I picked up back to the future for less than $5 (about £3.20).
Re: Videogame Deals
Jesus christ. I promised myself no more games until the Steam Sale / Xmas. I've purchased Bioforge at the start of the week (a fucking loveable classic, but only if you played the original. Nostalgia is a powerful tool but this looks awful now. You've been warned)strickenmcq wrote:For those who are interested 'up to 75%' off some games at GOG:-http://www.gog.com/ I picked up back to the future for less than $5 (about £3.20).
And now, I'm buying the Medal of Honour Allied War Chest.
Far Cry 3 and XCOM for Xmas.
I love being a gamer.

I had to search it out by 'DEFEAT'!

If only Journey became giftable.ratsoalbion wrote:Journey & Unfinished Swan together are currently £9 though, aren't they? Get that!
I'd have much preferred both for £4.50 each.

Re: Videogame Deals
It would be so great if PSN & LIVE offered the Steam model (even WiiWare/VC allows gifting)!
Re: Videogame Deals
Yep, especially when people have been asking for that feature for years. Infrastructure has been there, just never implemented.
Re: Videogame Deals
I was thinking about that recently and I think it would be a bad idea unless they had some parameters locked in on it. Having accounts hacked is bad enough as it is without dangling another carrot in front of the faces.

Bastion is available on the iOS for the kingly sum of 69p. Never played it on the psn/arcade, is it worth picking up on the iOS? I imagine the controls and the Ui being a problem. I refuse to buy it if playing it for 20 minutes leaves me with rigor mortis hands and Swiss-army-fingers as some other ports have.

Couldn't imagine playing it on iOS to be honest it's a tough twin stick game.

The iOS version has 94% on metacritic. I'd assume most people reviewing iOS games have a high tolerance for touch screen controls but with 94% I'd guess they're well implemented.FollowMyRuin wrote:Bastion is available on the iOS for the kingly sum of 69p. Re: Videogame Deals
My interest was certainly peaked having listened to the podcast. I suppose the question is, is the game worth suffering through potentially crippling controllers. And will the cost of ibriprofen for my ruined hands exceed the 69p I payed for the game?Rich wrote:The iOS version has 94% on metacritic.
