No Man's Sky is a tenner on PSN and was worth it on release, let alone with all the extra content they've added since. Worth a look if you're curious. I'm tempted just to have it on digital to save putting the disc in.

Great deal, I would have bought it for that but I picked it up for £5 on the local items for sale on Facebook.
Doom is £7.99 preowned on Games website currently

Games with Gold for August will be:
Xbox One:
Slime Rancher
Trials Fusion
360:
Bayonetta
Red Faction Armageddon
Feel a bit bad for people who bought Slime Rancher on Game Preview only for it to effectively launch for free to anyone on Gold - but that's the risk with purchasing any game I suppose!

Not a massive 'deal', but If you're an Amazon Prime member you can preorder Mario Odyssey on Switch for £40 (£42 for everyone else).
That's a couple of quid cheaper than I've seen anywhere else.

The
Humble Store has a short sale on a number of single player Steam games, including many variants of Binding of Isaac and Bird Story for the silly price of 80p.
The daily deal today is 34% off Hollow Knight.

The Game Collection are doing a promotion where you get 10% off preorders with the code GAMESCOM17.
Brings a lot of stuff down to the cheapest I've seen it so worth checking out if there are games coming up that you know you want day one:

Amazon have some discount codes running at the moment for £5 off when you spend £35, £10 for £75, and £20 for £150. Works on games (out now and pre-orders) and hardware.
You also still get your £2 off pre-orders if you're a Prime member, so can essentially get £7 off a pre-order game.
Some prices seem to have gone up to coincide with the deal (not stupid are the...) but with a bit of careful looking you can find a bargain, eg. Sea of Thieves is only £39something on pre-order for Xbox so take your £7 off and I've just got it for £32something, which isn't bad!

Yeah, I've preordered South Park for £35. Wonder if that means you can get £20 off a Switch?

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age (PS4) £19.95 at the game collection, doesn't beat the £8 odd for a ps2 copy but it's a decent deal regardless. Deal ends in 3 hours:

Not sure if it is every store but I popped into the local Game in Scarborough today and they had the Horizon Zero Dawn hardback guide/art book down to £9.99 from £27.99 and Mass Effect Andromeda hardback for £6 down from £20 so I picked them both up.
edit: They are both showing full price on their website currently

Aside from the usual sales repeats, this week's official Xbox 360 sales include some backwards-compatible vintage Sega:
Bass Fishing 84p
Crazy Taxi £1.68
Daytona USA £1.68
Vintage Collection: Golden Axe £1.68
Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage £1.68
Torment: Tides of Numenera (spiritual sequel to Planescape: Torment) is also on sale at half price for the Xbox One - £20 instead of £40, which I think is the deepest discount yet on console at least.

Brilliant combination of words there, 84p for Guardian Heroes?! I will bang that drum all day, how can you go wrong with that!
In other Capcom news - Resi 7 for £17 at Asda is a steal if you've not already played it
