The PSN Halloween Sale is on, and has a lot of deals. Perhaps the choicest is the quite recent Prey, which is going at 64% off, which makes it 24.99 in Euroland.

Lots of other monstrously good deals on there too.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Xbox One - £4.99 on eBay from Argos (probably stores too),

Never played a Deus Ex game before but they do look good.

Ok, this is the last time I'll post a VR deal, promise!

https://www.vg247.com/2017/10/25/get-a- ... this-week/

PSVR headset with PS Camera, GT Sport Limited Edition, Resident Evil 7, PSVR Worlds and 2 months NOW TV for £349.99 from GAME

It would make a lot of sense if you were buying GT Sport anyway (or sold it on). Resident Evil I consider a VR system-seller (if the other barriers to entry weren't so high) and VR Worlds is top-notch.

I saw that Matterfall was being discounted as well. Did anyone play this? Kinda surprised that I haven't heard anything about it considering how many Housemarque fans we have around here.

Well, I skipped it. It's by the 'other' Housemarque team. I didn't love Alienation and the OK but not stellar reviews for Matterfall pushed it right down my priority list.

I might give it a try for a handful of coins, but I don't expect it to duke it out with Nex Machina as one of my personal GotYs.

Well this sucks. Now I feel bad for not buying Matterfall. Really disappointed to read that Nex Machina sales weren't great. I think that game is utterly fantastic:

Noooooo!

Both Resogun and ND are some of my favorite titles in the genre. Very sad to hear about this... :(

Is there a dedicated Housemarque CaR episode on the horizon, at least?

I would like to cover several of their games and give them the full attention they deserve. No episodes are locked in for the future yet but most of Housemarque's output - going all the way back to the Amiga - is on the list.

The XBO store has started its Black Friday deals. Far too many things to list here, but you can find it over at this page

Gold members have those deals now, non gold ones get them on Black Friday itself, which is next week.

Thanks Flabyo; some cracking deals in there! Dishonored, Dishonored 2, and Death Of The Outsider, bundled for £26 stood out in particular as ludicrous value. Do not hesitate on this if immersive sims, or stealthy treats are your cup of tea.

Tremendous deals. I picked up Rise of TR which also seems to include various extras, DLC and whatnot I guess. Also Dishonored 2, couldn't resist at that price. I also picked up AC: Origins because I've heard loads of good things and never played an AC game before. It does seem quite shite so far, half an hour in, but hoping it'll pick up once it's more open.
