Added you. You are in survival mode by default. After some time on the server you may be given OP status

At the moment it's completely hollow. I'm planning to add a lot more detail to it as well, and some extra towers sprouting out from the sides too. I'm also planning a bridge to access it from another mountain that's on the other side of the tower in the picture.

Someone's been griefing the server.

a load of stuff is wrecked, and there were a bunch of people in there I don't recognise

two guys in the server 'mayd_dawg1995' and 'Richard_woods' stuff seemed to be catching fire while they're running around in the level and neither of them could tell me how they came to find the server...

Followed them from high up and watched Richard_woods running through the level smashing everything he walked across
Banned him, but I've got no idea how to roll back the server.

I'm also not sure that the whielist is working, I tried removing both people from the whitelist but both were still able to remove blocks.

I actually cannot load Minecraft up at all, which is really weird. What the hell is up with it?

I've not been on in ages, so updated to the latest version and hopped on.
I got disconnected a bunch of times, but I put that down to my wireless connection being shonky.

I just had to uninstall everything to do with Minecraft and then reinstall it. I don't understand why I had issues, just one of those PC things where it clearly wanted me to waste 90 minutes troubleshooting.

Please tell me we have a backup in place? There's some amazing stuff on the server, it'd be a shame it it was gone for good.

So I have contacted our server host and they have told me that someone turned off the whitelist on their end by mistake. I have rebooted the server to the last backup which was 05.04.13. I am so sorry that this has happened guys and I take the attack on the server very personally. It was a few days after myself and Dez put out our first MC video and I cant help thinking that had something to do with it. The whitelist is back on now and we should be safe once more.

HUGE thank you to Robotic for spotting these guys, just goes to show what a strong community we have.


I will also start backing up the server every week.

So sorry this happened and I hope that nobody lost to much time/work.
