Out of nowhere,
Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation – The Endless Seven-Day Journey coming west for PS4, Switch in August
If anyone is familiar with the Boku no Natsuyasumi games, this is from the same creator and is a Shin-Chan spin on those types of games. Seeing as this is the first one to get an English localisation, I'm excited.
It's EVO weekend, so expect fighting game news, and if you play a particular game, you'll see some great gameplay should you choose to tune in, I know I'll be.
I just picked up the latest issue of Edge and was pleasantly surprised to see that Sam Barlow's upcoming Immortality scored a perfect 10, the 24th game to do so in that publication's history (and the second this year after Elden Ring).
Whatever one thinks of Edge and its editorial line, a perfect 10 always captures my attention and especially so when it's a game that wouldn't normally be a day one for me.
Good Direct from Nintendo yesterday - really happy Pikmin 4 is finally confirmed (it was shaping up to be a poor Pikmin reveal until then!).
Bayonetta 3 looks great, another mainline Fire Emblem title isn't too far off and Zelda finally has a release date.
GoldenEye release seems really confusing between the two consoles (and a lack of a release date doesn't help) but I'm glad it'll finally see the light of day in some form.
No Advance Wars release date or Metroid news but you can't have everything. Unless it's farming sims.
Just bitter they still haven't announced GBA games for Switch Online. Wasn't really anything that excited me in this direct, but still looking forward to seeing how No Man's Sky is for Switch soon.
