Yeah, I figured most had put down joypads to be with love ones over the last week.

I'm chomping at the bit to load the game up and play that bell. In my absence from the game I've convinced myself that
Spoiler: show
those legends on the bell are notes. I want to sit down with the game, my guitar and see if anything matches up. I was thinking maybe each legend was a mini QR code as well, but I looked at a QR code generator on the internet and the code didn't fit the 3x3 resolution the game uses.
I hope I've not forgotten anything when I dive back in.

I'm just about ready, didn't start on trying to figure out

the village folk
so I might crack on with that.

The villagers? I'm assuming you mean the ones you start the game with?

I've just got my 4th cube and a key so I'm off to open that soon.

Sorry guys, didn't realise I'd gone so far ahead. I sat down a week back with the game and simultaneously a podcast or 2 and have no idea how long I played. Those howlongtobeat entries are pretty misleading, the majority seem to say 6 hours, I'm more inclined to think we'll need a few hours longer as most plays suggest they followed a guide constantly.

When you guys hit about 16 cubes I'll get back on the case, until then I'll delve into what I've got already.

So I've got a map that I have no idea about and I've noticed a door? That appears at night on one bit.

You've noticed the door on the map, or you've noticed the door in a nighttime section?

went to finish this game up over the festive break.
loaded the game up and after installing an update, the game has not corrupt my save.
I cleared my cache and refused to download the update, and the save is still corrupt.

I played some of this tonight with the main priority of cracking the code. Yeah, that was a weird night.

I started off in the village for some reason, I think I went back looking for ways to get gold all the rooms so I wouldn't have to go through them again. I knew they were drawings of legends posted up around that area so wrote them all down.
Spoiler: show
http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh29 ... fa0bf8.jpg

I noticed some of them weren't exactly the same but thought nothing about it. Until I came across a city block area that had loads of neon signs I wrote them down as well in the hoping I could make something of them. I couldn't make anything definite out, The words were too long. I did learn that The words are written vertically, which was something I hadn't notice before, Maybe I was just being dumb.

http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh29 ... 000206.jpg

I was trying to work out vowels. I think I saw "The" but I couldn't cement it, so I might have been pissing in the wind.
I went further in my travels and found this.

http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh29 ... 4721f8.jpg
Spoiler: show
By this time I'm noticing my notes were getting quite a lot. I count them up and notice I have way over 26. I ponder a bit and think that the extra ones are probably numbers.
I then happened to stumble across this...
Spoiler: show
http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh29 ... 08a20c.jpg
Obviously that's a massive game changer I wrote it all down. I finally had a reference point. Now for some reason it didn't figure in my head at the time to...
Spoiler: show
decode all the things I'd written down. I still have not done it even as I type this. Yes, I know, I am an idiot. Now I'm armed with the knowledge of what the legends refer to in letters and I know that the scribbles are written vertical and backwards I decided to go and have a look at that bell to see if each side had a note assigned to it A-G.

Guess what? It fucking didn't even have one legend I could read. I had a bit of a mess about trying the bell and didn't get anywhere. I then noticed that on my treasure maps that the same legends were on them. About 10 minutes later I roughly worked out what the code was and got a dark cube from the bell. I had to fill in the blanks from the numbers I didn't know, but I worked out that the format they were using for the numbers could only accommodate 5 different codes. Those eureka moments people talk about when they play this game? Well that was a big one for me. It felt so good after having the alphabet handed to me like it was.
Spoiler: show

So now I'm wandering about and I notice that I'm in a place where I have the treasure maps to. On top of that I know the code to use them. I ended up getting an achievement for picking some cube up.

Now I'm looking at the map and it appears I need to go behind a waterfall. There's a totem on the area marked with the tetris bits, but I've not got a fucking clue as to what they mean.
Spoiler: show
It's totally obvious that it's instructing me to spin the world around, as when I do spin the world around it always displays the same legends and is always visible. Beyond that I am clueless. I think I need to get through the waterfall to progress too, I can't see any other ways forward on the map.
I was 68.8& complete when I'd done for the session. I have no idea how many cubes I have. The last door opened so I have over 16. I should have written it down. I sort of got distracted by working stuff out.

Almost ready to get on with it. Just wondering where you guys (DomsBeard & Dante Fireseed - did you start?) are up to?

Might be prepared to upload some scribblings soon, will see what happens.

Map images after last session because Roy asked if he could see. Sorry about the quality, I took them with my phone.

http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh29 ... 99ddb8.jpg

Spent my time on this session up top on the map. Or at least I think I did, I went through a few shortcut areas, so I could have been anywhere at points. I now have 32 cubes and 4 artefacts. Completion stands at 100%(!!!)

OK, now for the spoilery™ parts.

Spent a bit of time trying to figure out the tetris code. Didn't get anywhere with it. I managed to find a place I'd not been before.

Found an owl. Couldn't solve the puzzle to it. I'm guessing I have to rotate the head or something.

Found a skull. Solved the puzzle.

Found a block puzzle where I had to stack them to make something like 6 different shapes. Had a go at it, then thought "Fuck this!" Looking back at it I don't even know how the hell I'm meant to get all those different shapes, as you can only view them from 4 sides. Does not compute.

A QR code was found. Easy anti-cube from that.
Spoiler: show
The main breakthrough was being told how the tetris code works. I found a monolith that lit up as I did actions in front of it. Even then it still took me a few attempts to realise that the code is flipped on its side. I felt like an idiot, I really should have been able to work that out. Now I need to find that waterfall and get it shut off.
Found a room with a tetris code that was obscured by a big stone chair. I tried my best but I couldn't get anything to register.

So now I have 25 cubes and 7 anti-cubes. I was told to go somewhere. Where this somewhere is, I have no idea. I'm guessing it's behind that waterfall.

I'm ready for this game to end soon. It's been enjoyable and all, but the backlogue makes playing it less appealing. I'm guessing something amazing will happen when I do whatever the game wants me to do next, whatever that might be.

Ohohohoho, now things are gonna get interesting for you. Explore through the 16 cube door. You'll figure out the rest.

Only read this once you've finished exploring through the door:
Spoiler: show
Tap the control stick up four times and press A. You might need to wait until you get the shades.
How many large warp gates have you found?
Spoiler: show
If I'm reading the map right, you've gotten four of them: Near the bell tower, near the observatory, in the graveyard and near the clock tower. Do you have any spare keys right now? When you next find one, head towards the clock tower.
Can you snap a pic of the block puzzle? If it's the one that I'm thinking of, I think the game may have glitched out and given me the gold border without me having solved it.

The stone throne:
Spoiler: show
If I recall correctly, the sequence in it is the QR code you scanned, if you didn't have the means to scan it.
The owl (this is straight-up the answer; you've been warned):
Spoiler: show
In four areas, a single owl will appear at sunset. Go to each of them and talk to them.

I might just go for it next session. I've been trying to hold back so others can play at something like the same speed, but I'm getting impatient. In no way am I blaming you guys, I know the last few weeks have been a bit hectic with Christmas, kids, significanty others etc. I want it done and dusted.
