Amplitude has a release date of early 2016. I quite enjoyed Rock Band Blitz but found the music didn't truly suit the gameplay. Looking forward to this, I backed it way back when it first arose.
I enjoyed it way back when and it's probably still pretty good although I probably prefer Infinity Blade from the whole of Chairs output (which is usually free at points of the year on ios too).
Edit: Oops, didn't see that posted in the game deals thread.
Rogue Galaxy on PS4 though, that's probably my news of the day. Looks like the stockpiling continues!

Sony are currently doing their keynote to open the PlayStation Experience weekend.
They showed some new footage of the FF7 remake.
And some other stuff, but nothing else is sticking in the head yet...

This footage of the FFVII remake look heavily scripted but if the combat is similar to Crisis Core I wont complain

Almost everything else they showed looked decent, but not spectacular. There weren't any real show stoppers for me.
They announced both Rez and Ace Combat for the PlayStation VR, but as I'm not getting one of those I wasn't hyped for that.
The sequel to Ni No Kuni looks very pretty, but I didn't like the first one so...
I'm now watching Capcom's stream where they've got SF5 exhibition matches for most of the day (tomorrow it's the Capcom Pro Tour Finals, from 6pm to 6am UK time... ouch...)

Double Fine have announced that they're going to be working on a remaster of Full Throttle, great news! Just need a HD version of Sam and Max now. Must admit I'm really looking forward to the DotT remake.

So I was just looking at the Ratchet and Clank remake footage.and while it certainly look fantastic,we are finnaly on that pixar movie level of detail, and the gameplay seems to be the much improved version the newer games I have to say Im not too keen on it and it's because of a very dumb thing,Ratchet's characterization. In the first game he was kinda of an asshole who took advantage of Clank to advance his own ends he wasnt really interested in saving the galaxy he wanted money and fame Clank was the naive wide eyed robot on a quest for justice it was just during the progress of the game that Ratchet came around and started giving a damn, now though Ratchet just seems like every boring movie protagonist,I get it that this is following the movie but why did they felt the need to make this change? Is having a protagonist like Ratcher&Clank 1 too much for mass market to handle?C'mon that was part of what made the first game different now it just looks a bit more generic and that's kinda of a shame.
Final Fantasy iiv remake is going to be released as individual episodes, not sure how I feel on that one

Works for me, mind you the only problem I see is levelling up. Will areas be cut off to start?.

I can see them having to rework the plot, no backtracking.
I think they might be talking more 'multiple releases' than Telltale style 'episodic' though. i.e., there'll be multiple games and each will be standalone.
Think more along the lines of how the Mass Effect games connected, you start from 'scratch' each time in terms of levels and equipment.
Doubt they'll clarify what they actually intend any time soon.
