Microsoft have pulled the plug on Project Spark now as well.
I think that might be the last of the original 'vision for Xbox One' titles they showed as part of the initial unveiling of the console. The TV stuff never really happened, Fable Legends never made it, and now this...

It's kind of sad. Project Spark was actually kind of interesting. I don't think it was particularly suited to the Xbox though.

This looks more amazing than even the base game did. And that's saying something!

Just purchased the season pass as it saved me a couple £ and also realised I've not played it since last August. Think it's time to dust off the trusty swords and come out of retirement.
I spotted that yesterday. All we need now is an Alex Kidd!

I can remember when I got it on the Master System after years of playing it in the arcade. Blew my little mind. I can remember being quite envious of people with the Master System II having Alex Kidd in Miracle World pre-installed. I had to wait till xmas to pay rock paper scissors on mine

I dont know if you guys saw this but you can now link your Steam account to your GOG. In theory it should add a game that you own on steam to GoG so you dont have to buy it second time. I dont really see any catch, but unfortunately at this point it applies only to handful of games. FAQ says that they need a permission for every game so adding new titles will take some time.

This excites me! One of my favourite ever games - hope they get it right!
EDIT : not too keen on the graphical style. All looks a bit clean and iOS like if you know what I mean? I'd prefer a pixel art remake for sure.

I'm totally with you on this Alex. If it was a brand new IP I'd think it was an attractive, cartoon quality looking game, but it doesn't capture the vibe of the original to me.
Fortunately there are still multiple ways of playing the original anyway though.

Was Wonder Boy the chap who rode a skateboard? I don't see much of that going on in that video.. or am I thinking of a different game?

He was. He was a caveman too on the arcade game in the 80s.

A CAVEMAN? Like BC Kid? or Joe and Mac? Was that Mick and Mack Global Gladiators. I'm so confused.
