Games Completed 2013
Re: Games completed 2013
Final fantasy Tactics:War of the Lions-psp
Just finnished the game and my jaw is on the floor,Since I played Xcom last year I was looking for something similar but that had a interesting story/world but I really wasnt expecting what i got I understand now why this is my friend favorite game of all time it's freaking Game of thrones for kids! And it's amazing there's also a bunch of refrences to GoT if you look closely, the story does get a bit confusing by the end but it all wraps up perfectly the gamepaly although hard to get at first(and those tutorials didnt help) is very fun especially because it is a lot more reliable and there's so much more you can do in it,like recruiting mosters and such and changing classes and sidequests. If you can get through the begining and really dig into the game it's an amazing experience I highly recommend it.

Aw yeah, such a classic
Re: Games completed 2013
- Spoiler: show
More Borderlands 2 is good by me, and I quite enjoyed this. A good chunk of content taking place over a few evenings and everyone dressed as pirates was very charming to be honest. Mainly, MMMOORREEE guns!
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
Really fantastic shooter with a clever way of delivering a fun narrative in a setting that could have turned out to be very cliched. Especially liked how it tried to tie in famous moments of folklore with the character your playing, and the actual guns are great fun to let loose with. Highly recommended, great fun.
The walking Dead - 400 Days
Great characters, great stories and how it all came together I really enjoyed. It interesting how despite there being not a lot of meat on the bone I still felt it created some really interesting dynamics from a story perspective. It is very distilled but actually all the better for that in my opinion.
Re: Games completed 2013
I just felt that it was very diluted you barely get time with the characters before you move on and only a few choices, even if some of the characters were good and some of tthe choices had weight I just never felt it was enough to make it memorable although for the price point I shouldnt have expected too much time out of it.delb2k wrote: The walking Dead - 400 Days

Re: Games completed 2013
I think it's had a sort of staggered release depending on region and format.
The PSN version is still unavailable in the UK though, that much I know - grrr

Re: Games completed 2013
Hundreds
Mark of the Ninja
Antichamber
Castle Crashers
Mega Man 9
Bit. Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien
ViViD
007: Everything or Nothing
English Country Tune
Element4l
Thomas Was Alone
Kingdom Rush: Frontiers
Pa Rappa The Rapper
Beat Sneak Bandit
Beat Sneak Bandit is absolutely sublime from start to finish and a perfect example of what the touch screen smartphone platform has to offer that others don't.
One thing, though (and this isn't a fault, just an observation): It's done the same thing as Pullblox did, where just as I think I've finished all of the levels and the game's over, it springs another set of puzzles on me. I don't mind extra content, I just wish it was a known quantity beforehand. Especially since the extra levels in BSB were literal remixes of previous levels and came after the outstanding boss fight at the end; the game could have, say, unlocked a level's remix stage if the player got all the clocks in it, in a variant of how the shadow castle levels get unlocked, and I think it would have worked just as well.

Re: Games completed 2013
Rock of Ages-
Played it a while back at release but never finnished for some reason that was quickly corrected today, really fun and creative game,I mean really in what other game your objective is to use a giant rock to crush historical figures while having RTS elements? If you like crazy games it's worth it and if you like Monty Python this game is mandatory.

Re: Games completed 2013
I guess I felt it was more of an excercise into how I would approach these situation instead of how the character would. I got the impression that it was designed to put you in some tough positions and asking you to make those decisions, not how you think the character would behave. In that regard I felt it was a huge successTodinho wrote:I just felt that it was very diluted you barely get time with the characters before you move on and only a few choices, even if some of the characters were good and some of tthe choices had weight I just never felt it was enough to make it memorable although for the price point I shouldnt have expected too much time out of it.delb2k wrote: The walking Dead - 400 Days

The freebie from one year's summer of arcade I started it on a whim and ended up enjoying it. It is smaller than its bretheren in Torchlight and Diablo and not as complicated in both stats and loot customization but the core combat I just enjoyed. And being short it was just right amount of time for me not to get bored with it. A distraction, but one that was very welcome.
