That's still the fourth highest-scoring game on TrueAchievements. No mean feat!

Now you just need to 100% clear Killer Instinct, Elder Scrolls Online and Elite Dangerous :P

Quick question. Once I finish DK 64 I’m looking at jumping into Banjo Kazooie. I’ve had a little play around on rare replay but loading the 360 games through rare replay itself takes forever. I’ve heard mixed things about activating the challenges etc that you have to launch them from rare replay. This takes forever and being a 360 game doesn’t support sleep mode/instant on.

All this is making me consider playing it through the WiiU virtual console?

Anyone got any advice/ preference or experience playing it through rare replay? I’m sounding picky but I’ve got the choice.

Banjo-Kazooie isn’t available on Virtual Console, so that makes your decision for you!

I could have sworn that I saw it on there. Well that was easy!

The more I think about my question the more silly I feel. Of course Banjo Kazooie wouldn’t be on there with Microsoft owning rare and the franchise.

It’s a shame as playing virtual console games on the WiiU is wonderful.

On the plus side the 360/XO version looks and plays better; higher resolution, superior textures, smooth frame rate, no blur or fog...

With Rare Rare Replay (digital, at least) you can launch some of the games from the Xbox One dashboard. The RR game itself is wonderful but yes, its a bit of a slog.

It's one of those tiny annoyances for my library as they've added Rare Replay versions of games but I've also got the original sitting right next to it! Check out the image below, yo.
