Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

Post by adwild1982 »

Any one who has read anything I have posted on this forum (all 3 of you) will know how much I loved borderlands 2. So it comes as no great surprise to find out that I have got Borderlands the pre sequel on the ps3. I was wondering if anyone else will be getting this? If so does anyone fancy some co-op fun at some point?

How are you finding it? Had to stop playing for the day as my head is killing me.

It's more of the same, but that's what I was looking for. I'm not sure on the low gravity thing, I'm terrible at it. It's been really funny though and I'm digging the Aussie accents. I'm can't recall another game with such an Australian presence?

I've got the man flu at the moment, I'll be up for some coop when I'm not coughing so much :/

Feel the same about the low gravity it was pissing me off and it's a bit sparse from location to location. Got shed loads of golf keys to use just saving them. We defo need some co-op action soon.

I went with Wilhelm, I was Zero in borderlands 2 and didn't want to be another sniper. Also I can't stand claptrap ;) how about you?

Linda and I have started playing this on the 360. The verticality makes combat quite different and often more frustrating as the enemies don't stand out from the background when on the moons surface. That said slamming down from a great height is both fun and very effective.
Definitely still a Borderlands game on the humour side!

OK, this is an excellent addition to the series. Still definitely Borderlands but also so drenched in Australian humour that it feels really fresh. Taking the piss out of cricket and having a Steve Erwin tribute character, plus all the voice work. It's great to see a studio allowed to inject so much of themselves into an established product. Hats off to 2K Australia!
