Notices this cheeky little trailer today. I love how they made it feel like a trailer which belongs on the Wii/Wii U eShop.

A collab. between NapNok (Spin the Bottle) and Nifflas (Knytt Underground). I hope it's slightly better signposted than Knytt. I severely got lost in that game which is a shame as I was really enjoying it.

That looks pretty neat. Kind of reminds me of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like it has a little of The Swapper or Capsized about it too.

Picked up Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. World 1 down, and it's pretty fun so far. Definitely worth getting.

I also bought DKC: TF. As you can tell, I have an affinity for apes in formal wear.

Dont suppose you'd still be interested?

The first yoshi's new island review frp, edge is apparently a 4/10. Gonna wait for a few more opinions before deciding, but I'l be very disappointed if true.

Also a 4 from Chris Schilling and similar from others. I wish Nintendo wouldn't keep palming Yoshi off onto sub-standard dev teams.

That's good. The game's sitting on a Game Rankings average of around 65 so not everyone can have been so disappointed with it.

I think its very good indeed. I've never been able to find all the stuff in a level on first play, its taken 2 or 3 goes. And the motion sensor stuff isn't great, not as bad as say, that yoshi tilt game for the GBA, but not great.

8/10 from GamesTM according to reviewer Jon Denton, who I respect greatly. Maybe it's fine! The low scores seem to be limited to Edge and Eurogamer. Funny thing with Eurogamer is Denton writes a lot of reviews for them, if he wrote this the headline would be 'Eurogamer 8' not 'Eurogamer 4'. Weird to think, with all the freelance writing in this industry how different things would be perceived for games and readers / the buying public if scores were shuffled around from site to site.

Hmm, my issue with that may end up being the same issue I had with Mario Tennis - I have a game on Vita which will almost certainly already be significantly better. I managed about ten minutes of play on Mario Tennis before just wanting to play Virtua Tennis 4, I suspect the same story with Everybody's Golf. The Mario games do offer big differences in the gameplay but the core mechanics of golf (and tennis) need to be spot on too. Mario Tennis on 3DS was way off for me, hopefully Golf will be better! Used to love the GameBoy version (back when it was more sensible, same with GameBoy Mario Tennis.)

I thought I was "done" with Mario Kart years ago. Then I saw this trailer, and now I'm not so sure. That remix for the Rainbow Road music is amazing!
