I went to the island today with 3 mates. It's really good, bagged me some coconuts and lemons. There's another fruit there too, I couldn't get ahold of it though. Anyone else seen it?

No, how do you access it?

Here's how to get it Ratso.
Spoiler: show
Tortimer shows up one day stood on the jetty. Talk to him and the day after Kapp'n will take you across for a sum of 1000b.
Take friends for maximum pleasure. Make sure you put everything you want to take back to the island in the hamper next to the counter, it'll be stowed in the box on the jetty. Don't worry about being over encumbered either, you go onto the island without any items at all.

You can blog straight from the 3DS, which is nice. Any excuse to share some gaming pictures, especially ones that have a bit of a story flowing through them.

Was knobbing around with Darren Forman on the island earlier. Good to see it has stuff to do but I kinda wish it was bigger.

I've barely seen the stuff that Nintendo showed off for the island and I've already had monocle wearing top hat randomers jumping onto my island to do a spot of elite gardening. Played a solid 20 mini games and all seem a tad mundane but that was based purely off playing with randomers once I coughed up the 50 medals.

I'm obviously hooked on the game so far but the fact I've only just seen a person with one of 20+ medals on their card blows my mind, we're only touching the tip of the iceberg as it stands.

Has anyone noticed the grass dying off? There's certain places where I'm running through all the time and it's totally obliterated the greenery. The banks of the river are also looking a bit sparse grass wise.

Yes, this is so that paths are created between your favourite places. A cool new feature!

It'll cost a small fee to get there but it's worth it for the song alone. When you collect loads of stuff and dump it in the basket for you to take home, make sure all four pages are full of bugs, fish etc. You get a load of money from some of those exotic bugs!

Anyone need the Master Sword fortune cookie prize and have a different prize worth trading? I've just got another one!

Sure, I don't have that :) Send me a message when you're free to hook up and trade.

Thanks!
