It's shocking to me that A Hat in Time took this long to get to the Switch.

I remember there being a boycott at release because the youtuber they'd hired to do a few lines of voicework turned out to be a sheltered little racist brat. Absolutely nobody saw it coming.
Everything's better on the switch so I'm assuming that's all been forgotten about.

I'd backed it long before the controversy and I'm a colossal racist so I played it anyway.
It's ... alright, it tries to do too much, they should have just concentrated on making a mario sunshine style game and acing that. You'll know what I mean if you ever play it, but the first stage is really fun, though it could have used longer in the oven, then instead of just riffing on that, they try to do lots of interesting things with the other stages that never quite work and it hobbles the pace, it's all a bit stop/start. A good effort but it's totally skippable, get cat mario instead.

The Outer Worlds... a new Obsidian RPG... and it launches day one on gamepass so I don’t even have to go and buy it.

Christmas has come early.

Me too. Need to Cane Spider-Man to get it done for Friday and that should keep me busy till Jedi Fallen Order.

That had completely passed me by, but I saw MegaDrive, watched your trailer, and now I’m sold. Thanks!

Death Stranding for me...twice. I’ve got the special edition pro which comes with the game and the stupidly over the top edition with the BB and case. My wife is going to love it.

Couldn't you just sell the extra bundle copy to someone else?

Rune 2 out so soon? I was expecting it would still be at least a year away or so. That doesn't exactly bode well.

Golem happens to be the first game that Marty O'Donnell has worked on since leaving Bungie, so that one might be worth taking a look at. Or at least looking up the soundtrack for.

Yep, same here. Feel somewhat overwhelmed by all the stuff I've bought this past month and still got Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina to finish, or really 'start' in the case of the former.

Need to see what the crack is with ea access and Star Wars. It was going to be a day one purchase but Kojima has his hooks in. Terminator is down for rental. Too many games!. Not like Shenmue 3 and Stadia next week either :o

Mate, I’ve got stuff now that will easily take me up to Christmas.

I think I’m happy with my progress on Astral Chain and will leave it there, Daemon X Machina I’ll go back too and Outer Worlds will summer along nicely to jump into when I have that itch.

My Christmas game is shaping up to be Fire Emblem I fancy.

Star Wars was a day one purchase for me until I started reading the previews. Not sure it’s the Star Wars game I’m looking for anymore, so that will now come down to reviews convincing me otherwise. More than enough to play until it gets cheap though, and not sure I can resist that new Bubble Bobble when it arrives as a higher priority!
