I'm in Spain at the moment and watched the Betis v Chelsea game with locals in a bar. The barman stood to win €190 if Betis won (which is their local La Liga team). Was gutted for them when Chelsea banged in three goals in 20 minutes before putting the nail in the coffin in overtime.

So - who's excited for the Club World Cup then? A Prestigious tournament that is in no way morally bankrupt and one man's ego trip.

Anyone?

England doing great in the U21 Euros. Can't be long before Elliott gets a senior call-up. But the young team have reached back to back Euros finals and will face France or Germany on Saturday night.

EDIT: Germany, then. Don't fancy our chances much, this German team is looking good and they already comfortably beat us in the group stage.

What a great final! England U21 European champions for the second time in a row!

England 3 v 2 Germany.

Really talented young team.
