Re: Nintendo Wii U
That's why I posed the question as to why I found the Wii U version of F-Zero so playable, because I have F-Zero MV on my GBA and I didn't find that as much fun. It could be an inferior sequel, mind, I've not played it enough to fully judge it.

It is 20% slower; surprise.ratsoalbion wrote:Again I say, imagine the uproar if Metal Gear Rising came out tomorrow and we got a 20% slower game.

Re: Nintendo Wii U
Monster Hunter out this week as well as the third game in the 30p bargain Virtual Console games. This month, it's Punch Out! (NES)
Other highlights on the eshops this week are the HarmoKnight demo (3DS) and the data transfer tool for those who want to take their saves of Moster Hunter between the Wii U and 3DS! A good idea for those on the move!

All things 3DS / Nintendo Direct for Europe
This seems to be the closest thing to an actual 3DS thread so i'll take this time to let you know of the awesome games coming to the handheld this coming week.
Luigi's Mansion 2 is getting superb reviews from almost every outlet and is "the best 3ds game since Mario 3D Land" according to some dude on twittererer.
Code of Princess is coming to the eshop on the same day, March 28th and is being hailed as a spiritual sequel to Guardian Heroes.
HarmoKnight is a platform, rhythm action game from GameFreak, the guys behind some game called Pokémon? It's eshop bound next week and there's a demo available now and is very, very good.

Re: Nintendo Wii U
Some decent titles inbound for the Wii U with the most recent being Monster Hunter. Next week see's the release of Lego City Undercover which has been receiving some mixed reports but mostly positive.
Apparently the Wii U version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted is the definitive version and of course, Punch Out is out on the eShop for 30p!

Re: The 3DS / Nintendo Direct Thread
Yeah, I'm a fan of the HarmoKnight demo to the point I'll be picking it up. Any idea on the price for both that and Code of Princess?
I've still got a huge number of unanswered friend requests on the 3DS from the old forum and since this is the closest to a 3DS thread I'm going to post here otherwise I'll have about 2 visitors to my town when Animal Crossing releases. My code is below along with the list of unanswered 'requests' I've got in my friend list:

eShop prices are never really given out until the week they're due to be released I think.

I think quite a few of those folks either never made it across to these forums and/or got rid of their 3DS consoles.mikeleddy83 wrote:I've still got a huge number of unanswered friend requests on the 3DS from the old forum and since this is the closest to a 3DS thread I'm going to post here otherwise I'll have about 2 visitors to my town when Animal Crossing releases. HarmoKnight will be £12.99.mikeleddy83 wrote:Yeah, I'm a fan of the HarmoKnight demo to the point I'll be picking it up. Any idea on the price for both that and Code of Princess?
Code of Princess has been confirmed as having a €29.99 price tag but I've no idea what exactly that will translate to in £ unfortunately. A search for other similarly priced eShop titles suggests it will probably be £24.99 though.

Re: Nintendo Wii U
I posted one last night, from Toki Tori 2.
Re: Nintendo Wii U
Is gifting possible on the WiiU? Someone gift me Toki Tori 2.
I need it.
No, seriously, Mum, I need this game! You don't understand how important it is to me! This is the only thing I've ever needed and you won't even let me have it!

Re: Nintendo Wii U
Toki Tori 2 is a darned good puzzling workout.
I'm not sure why you can't gift via eShop. I loved that feature on Wii (and it's of course great on Steam too).
