Because Nintendo are the worst company ever and make crap 'last gen' consoles and don't get online gaming and charge too much for their overblown peripherals and won't even exist in two years once Microsoft/Sony release their consoles that will go house-to-house eating all the Wii Us and pooping out 3 Gamecubes, a touch screen and a roll of duct tape.

Interesting to read Miyamoto's comments this morning. With the current surge the 3DS is experiencing it'll be interesting to see where the Wii U stands in another year or so. A few first party titles to back up the Monster Hunter effect and who knows.

I'm cautiously optimistic, although the next gen consoles are going to make WIi U games look rather last gen.

It doesn't matter, I love my Wii U regardless :D

My sentiments exactly! I haven't spent all that much time playing it, but the console is great to use. The 30p Trial scheme on the eShop is ridiculous value - can't wait for Super Metroid in a couple of months. :D

Aye, I hope Nintendo see the ridiculous surge in sales for cheaper eShop/VC titles and price accordingly after this VC trial is over with.

I'm really enjoying my Wii U and have done since launch. I think MH3U has seen the console in a more positive light to those who weren't interested before and hopefully with the decent selection of games coming it'll get more folk on the system.

Smash Bros, please!

Morning All,

Looking for some advice on 3DS games that use the Circle Pad Pro. I've just purchased the unwieldy beast for my XL along with Resident Evil Revelations and Kingdom Hearts 3D to keep me busy on the commute over the next few weeks, but after that I'm not really sure where to go :?

Any recommendations? I know Monster Hunter has been getting good reviews but anyone here have firsthand experience with the 3DS version?

PS - my friend code is 2337-3061-6712 - feel free to add me! I'll be adding all those who have kindly put their codes on this thread, so if you get a friend request from a mii that looks a bit like Einstein's idiot offspring then don't panic, it's only me. I'm (relatively) harmless :)

I can't believe it's been a month already since Punch Out was in the 30p deal! On the 18th of April we have Kirby's Adventure (NES) for 30p. Inching closer and closer to the gem of the crown, Super Metroid.

I take it you can play these 30p games just on the pad?. The thought of playing Super Metroid on that does appeal :)

Yeah the plan is to fully support gamepad only play. Played many hour of the SNES F-Zero just before bed with the gamepad. It's an amazing feature and genuinely helps sell the idea of playing a game.

Played a couple hours of Fire Emblem and is proving to be a corker. 3DS is amazing at the moment.

I've been playing Fire Emblem as well, and it's bloodly brilliant. Scratches the same itch XCOM did, but with a completely different personality and style.

To finish off the quota I became so addicted I've already played for a good 4 hours with no signs of slowing down, even tried getting the DLC and extra freebies but it's a no go so far (presumably the servers aren't switched on yet). May be the third time I've said it but "good times ahead" :)

May as well pimp that FC again, I'll add any I see dotted across the forums so just add the thing: 5412-9884-2673
