Whilst I think that the map design of Armoured Kill is superb, there are some balancing issues I would like to see addressed for the future. Rush Mode for example, feels quite unbalanced at the moment with the advantage lying with the attacking team with the AC-130 being permanently sided with them. The open nature of the maps, in particular Alborz Mountain, means that once an M-comm is armed it is almost impossible to disarm it if the 130 is circling above as it only require its crew to rain fire down upon the markers to prevent the defending team getting anywhere near it.

It's not necessarily an easy fix either but there are possibly a couple of alternatives - remove the AC-130 altogether from the Rush games - or give it a control point as in Conquest mode where both teams can fight over its use. Adding a neutral control would add an element of difference when compared to Rush on the other maps making for some interesting battles but the placement of these points could be difficult as by the nature of the Rush mode the point would likely be nearer to the defending team. Although, to alleviate that as an issue you could perhaps have the 130 initially start in the possession of the attacking team giving them a chance to disrupt the defenders at the start.

That said, Conquest is the mode I favour in general anyway and on this mode Armoured Kill rocks it with the best of 'em.

Yeah I only play Conquest as well. Rush is okay on maps designed for it (long & narrow). I leave team death-match for others to play - its not for me.

I'm enjoying conquest the most so far, Rush I'm struggling to get into. I've been using TDM as a training ground to improve my shooting and grinding up the levels early on.

I used to love Team match in almost every other shooter, but it feels so constrained in BF3 in that you are contained within a very limited area of the map. I would actually say that those who like that DM mode should give Conquest Domination on the Close Quarters maps - due to it frenzied pace feels a lot like a game of Death Match but with more pointage to grab and obviously a greater focus on squad play. They are also great maps to get weapon unlocks too.

I get the piss taken out of me from one of my work colleagues I play with because I tend to stick to conquest and chase down flag captures. (he prefers playing rush and fannying about near the back of the game with a sniper rifle...)
I enjoyed the addition of Conquest Domination in the Close Quarters pack, it's like Turbo conquest, really fun run and gun mode.
Conquest domination is a really good game for levelling up weapons too, as you get bundled up close for lots of kills.

If I manage to get into a game with people who want to work as a team, then Rush can be great fun too, unless it's rush with a million tickets and the games drag on forever...

After a lot of struggling, Helicopter controls are starting to make some sense to me now. Flying a scout helicopter with someone in the back repairing you is amazing fun!

have you played any of the co-op stuff yet?
I rinsed them to try and learn how to fly a chopper and to unlock the raffica, which is my favourite option for a pistol...

All this talk of the game and nary a mention of Battlelog - which is one of the best developer run cross-platform stats sites I've come across for a shooter - worth signing up for if you're spending a bit of time within the Battlefield.

You can zip me a friends request under Krylon70 and we also have a C&R clan - which will be getting a refresh in the very near future.

I believe you can have several platforms attached to the one account, Don (indiana747) will be the one to ask about this as he has both consoles on his profile.

I didnt realise you console players dont have any kinda of battlelog system on the consoles themselfs.

I really must check out the whole UI next time im over my friends house who has it on PS3. ive only ever jumped on mid-game.

Kinda kool i guess because you can boot up your laptop, phone, ipad to check your battlelog while you play rather than doing what i do which is abit of Alt-Tab.

Battlelog is great though, more stats than you can shake a stick at right, also like the fact it has cross platform on there.

Just had a hilarious moment where I was running towards a flag and ran past an enemy running the other way. We did a double take turned round and it was like a quick draw!.

I was getting a bit annoyed last night playing close quarters domination. Kept getting killed over and over but then I had a great 5 minutes where someone spawned on me and me on him (that sounds a bit wrong doesn't it?) and as a team we worked great. My kills went up and we eventually won the game. Had a couple of rounds with Cress on the new giant map.

I've got two bad habits I need to get rid of I think. I tend to zoom my sights in with my M416 when I think I need to just fire from the hip as that half second costs me. Also I keep going for knife kills, I love them (my second highest weapon for kills) but its cost me a few times when they've either seen me before or I screw it up.

Quick question, in the multiplayer trailer there is a clip of a team jumping off a dam or something on a map to an area below. I've been dying to do that which map is it?
