Pfft! Silly season is officially over. Not a single notable game on that list.

[Cue Darren, Josh and myself loading me into a cannon and firing me into SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!] ;)

Personally, I can't wait to see what Lucid have done with Geometry Wars 3. I'm crossing everything that it lives up to its predecessors.

Smash is 20 quid more on the eShop than it is from Amazon. That's impressive.

I've still not really seen enough information on Suikoden and Suikoden II. The date of release is Tuesday but I don't know if they're being released as PS1 Classics as actual Vita games and whether or not they are coming to the UK. It is a little frustrating. The first Suikoden was released on the US store as a PS1 classic but was not compatible with Vita (as some games are not) and it never found its way to the UK.

Not much this week but apparently Captain Toad's Treasure Trackers is out this week in some stores? Still not sure about that nonsense, letting some shops selling it early but it's possible!

The official release is Jan 2nd, but with the Christmas postal shutdown there's almost no way anyone would get copies on release day by post. So postal orders were sent early. GAME decided this means the release date has been broken, so feel free to sell in store from today.

Not exactly 'out this week', but the 1989 Game Boy version of Tetris is being taken off the 3DS eShop tomorrow. Possibly a licensing issue, but no reason has been given. Anyway, pick it up today if you want to play some black and green, blocky goodness on your 3DS. Allez! Allez!
