I would love to hear you guys chat about Shadow of Memories. It was the first game I played on PS2 and I simply adore it.

I'm not sure how popular the game was but it is certainly interesting enough to discuss.

I've added both Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games and Shadow of Memories to the enormous list of possibilities.
Thanks for the suggestions.

The Lego games would be an interesting discussion. Especially their more recent modern evolution.

Yep. In fact, Ryan and I were discussing this very subject on Twitter over the weekend. Yet to determine how best to cover such a large series, but if we do we will give them their due, rest assured! :)

For my money I think we'd have to at least start with LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, which would also (finally) pop our Star Wars game cherry - another sprawling minefield!

Ah, my first LEGO game!
It's a weird one, because it feels like one issue for the entire series is as unrealistic as one issue per game. Looking forward to how you, Tony and Jay carve this up. :)

There's a mountain of Lego games prior to Traveller's Tales taking them over as well.

(I worked on one of them)

Hard to think of any prior to Star Wars that're worth looking into in any detail though.

Yeah, I remember the existence of pre-TT LEGO titles very well, but I didn't play any of them and have little desire to now.
It's something we'd talk about on the podcast in brief anyway.

Since I've been playing and enjoying hugely Ys: The Oath In Felghana I'd love to hear a show on that or the series in general.

The Ys series has been requested before, but we have absolutely no expertise or fandom among the team unfortunately.
Also, the JRPG is one of our biggest challenges, and there are probably other series' that we'd cover ahead of this one. Like, a franchise that includes games we've actually played!

Never say never, and it is on the list, but you may need to look elsewhere for audio Ys coverage I'm afraid.

Sorry Guys!

Ever consider the Virtua Fighter series? Or Tekken?

Both of those series' are on the big list in their entireties. We'd probably want someone properly expert on those shows though, especially for VF.

Definitely understand, both are very technical fighters. I usually did better with VF. I suck at Tekken, my wife on the other hand is a master at Tekken lol.

Yeah, I was playing VF5: Final Showdown the other day to break in my new stick. I'm still horrible at it after 20+ years!

I had more success with Tekken by bashing away for hours at the single player (those end-sequences were good motivation) and learning Yoshimitsu's 10 hit string.

Can I suggest Lumines. I have been playing different iterations of this game since it was released on the PSP and its one of my all time favourite puzzle games, it seems basic at first glance but the game kept me interested for ages!

Good shout, I will add those if they aren't already on the big list.

I know you guys tackled Dragon Age Origins. Any chance of Dragon Age 2, Awakening or Inquisition?

We covered Awakening in the Origins show, but we may end up doing the sequels at some point if/when enough of us have completed them..!
