Had a go at a demo of Koei's new 'Warriors' game based on the manga Arslan today.

It's pretty fun, cel shaded anime Dynasty Warriors basically. More emphasis on horse combat that the series is usually known for, but otherwise very familiar.

Well, it seems The Oliver Twins have some news today!

Releasing an old, unreleased Dizzy game and a Kickstarter campaign for a new book about the brothers!

Hooray, great Spectrum +2 games. I won a code from a magazine and it went under so I never found out if the xbla version was decent

Yeah Dizzy Remastered I think?. I won a T-Shirt/Pin Badge and never received the code. The guy who was supposed to give me it blocked me on Twitter when I followed it up, it was all a bit odd. He was/is an editor for VG247 can't remember his name.

See, to my knowledge there was ever any such release, which might explain some of your experience...

Yeah Gravity Rush 2! They seem to be focusing alot on the combat for the sequel which good since it was probably the weakest part of the original, still looking good:

Nintendos first mobile app is all about Mii's talking to each other. Sure, why not!

Is it safe to assume the Mii's will still be a part of ecosystem come the NX then if Nintendo's first mobile effort is all about them and not releasing until next year?

Was kind of hoping those little buggers would be dropped.....

Just on Gravity Rush 2 - is it me or does it look pretty much exactly the same as the Vita game?? A bit prettier, more detail in the environments etc, but it's not exactly the leap you'd expect from Vita to PS4! Don't get me wrong I love the first game and will be all over this one but I get the feeling this may have begun life on handheld and been swapped over at some point.....

Trailer for Nier: Automata!!!

I want this so hard! It manages to look very Nier-esque, but also very Platinum-esque at the same time, which is just perfect. It seems something like the magic system from the original Nier is returning, as well as something that looks like the parry mechanic from Metal Gear Rising.

Not sure on the name though. Not that it really matters, but it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

The thing with the Mii's is that they don't get in the way of anything, really, at least on the Wii U. They're just there, occasionally making me smile when I see a familiar face in the peripheral vision of a party game or something.

All the Tribes games, for free!

http://www.tribesuniverse.com/

Tribes Ascend is brilliant and well worth a look. It's a F2P MP shooter which became a little stale for me after weeks of playing it but apparently they're working on it again.

It's so good.
