I bought The Witness at full price yesterday and haven't even played it yet and it's in the sale. It's only £8 off though fortunately, I'd have been gutted if it had dropped to half price. Damn my impulsiveness >_<
these days it's always good to wait for the sale pretty much unless you buy the game on release day. it'll only take a month or two until it's on sale again. especially if the game is on more than one platform.
When it's indie devs such as these here are I don't mind buying their games at full price, assuming the extra cash actually gets to them!
I'll happily wait for half price from the big pubs though. :)

If anyone was tight enough (like me) to wait on a price drop for Gradius V on PS3 it's finally happened:

Otherwise, if you like fiddling about there's a US PSN humble bundle but expect a little more effort than the PS3 for your PS4 games:

ZIP code: 90210. Accept no substitutes! :)

God Hand is also part of that sale. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in the genre.

@mikeleddy: When you absolutely, positively, need to buy every game in the bundle? :D

Is God Hand on PS4? I got it for PS3 but would totally buy it again.

Unfortunately, no. I meant the PS3 version.

Here's the list of all the discounted games:

A lot of M2's SEGA 3D classics are on sale this week on the Eshop including this week's podcast, Outrun. At just over £2 a shot I'm going to grab a few I'm not really sure on but at that price, I won't miss the cash.

Knew it couldn't last, as soon as it got reported it was likely to get corrected.
Wonder if they will honour it for those who managed to get an order in (they're not legally obliged to) - I highly doubt it.

Yeah, doubtful. I remember Amazon doing something similar a few years back, and all the Internet clever clogs shouting "no, no, they HAVE to honour a published price. They legally have to!!" No they dont!

Gears of War 4 is £40 in Tesco, so I went to pick it up.

While I was there it was on offer for £30 when bought with a £15 XBL card.

Which I thought was pretty decent, so I grabbed that.

Not a video game specific deal, but if you buy £30 worth of gift cards on amazon, they'll give you £7 complimentary on top of that. Means I'll get Battlefield One for a cool 41 euros.
