I buy a fair few Klei games (they're a media darling of sorts so I guess I get swept up in the hype every time) but something about them stops me dead in my tracks about ten minutes in. It might be the art style, though that doesn't explain Mark of the Ninja.

I bought this one as a game to play over Christmas on the laptop and Steam tells me I have 13 mins played (over several attempts).

Don't Starve got me on the lack of explanation of what stuff did - you could play for ages and then have to start over because the game decided you were going to die with no warning. Obviously you get that info over time but it seemed unnecessarily harsh.

Dr. Mario World is vaguely interesting. Nintendo have tried going after several of the different mobile free to play models with their games on there, and this one is taking the Dr. Mario game design and tooling it with Candy Crush’s level progression system.

Might be worth a look.
