This here forum will be a nice place to talk about certain aspects of the game as well as co-ordinating meetups online.

There's a lot to be learnt by playing with and observing others behaviour. My copy has been despatched! :D

I have to admit, I'm nervous with MH games about joining with other people being useless and ruining their game.

The MH community is, in my experience, mostly nice people willing to coach. There'll be none of that holier than thou attitude with us lot though!

You need a hand killing a monster on level 1? We'll advise you or even fight alongside you!

There's absolutely room for you arry, and Darren is right about the community - it's unusually friendly and helpful.

That's nice to hear. Over the years I've got grief on so many games with an online component that I've just thought screw this and have walked away after a couple of matches.

Bit of a lucky sausage and got my copy today. Tried to resist until the New 3DS but I decided to do some solo missions to get a feel for the controls.

It's going well, so far!

At the moment, are you playing with or without a Circle Pad Pro?

Fought the first boss type in the game, the Great Jaggi.

Forgot how much endurance, skill and tenacity is needed to beat them... but when you do... it's so satisfying!

Congrats! Let the hunting begin. Possibly looking at a very rapid Saturday arrival but sadly might not be fully active until Tuesday at the earliest.

How's everyone planning to chat on this. Grim and I played about with hangouts, facetime audio (limited to just 2?) and ps4 chat to find the perfect companion piece but I'm not sure what to go with, any suggestions?

Damn the third monster in the Demo can tank some damage. I've gotten more used to the camera, and while not perfect using the touch screen the lock on is a decent way to keep track of the big monsters.

as for chat if people want I have a teamspeak server that could be utilised if people want, saves the numbers being an issue and means people without console X or Y can join in

Should have my copy tomorrow and hopefully a CPP by monday. A bit of a letdown that there's no voice chat, but I'll offer the same as Darth, I have a Vent server if anyone wants to borrow/use it while hunting. Hopefully we can get some good hunts going.

Popped out the the shop on my lunch break to pick up the game and a New 3DS. They're just lying there in a bag, teasing me, waiting to be played. How cruel.

And friend code! 1779-1620-9982

I'll add every code, present and future - none will pass me by.

I made a typo, the first 4 of the 3rd set is a 3 so it's actually 4270-1630-3842
