Crysis / Crysis 2 – Cane and Rinse No.68

“If you want guarantees, buy a toaster.”

Formed by the three Yerli brothers, Frankfurt’s Crytek burst onto the PC gaming scene with the technically impressive FarCry in 2004. Three years later they followed up with Crysis, a near-future sci-fi FPS that remains one of the most graphically demanding games available. Is the beauty of Crysis and its 2011 multi-format sequel Crysis 2 only skin-deep though? Leon, Tony, Josh and Karl put their heads together along with members of the Cane and Rinse community.
