“Play nice! Play nice!”
Leon, Brian, Darren and Michiel pair up for a frantic session of the fourth game in Nintendo’s cartoon racer series, Mario Kart: Double Dash!! The game launched to great anticipation but a mixed reception in 2003. Was the GameCube game too gimmicky, too chaotic for its own good, or is it only right and proper that this was the instalment that locked in the aesthetic and handling templates for the next 15 years and five instalments (or more)?
