Silent Hill: Origins – Cane and Rinse No.167

“Hey, chill. You don’t see me bringing up your issues.”

It’s back to basics for the fifth of our Silent Hill series of podcasts. Climax Group were tasked with creating the 1976 set prequel to the original game with Silent Hill: Origins, but after an abortive attempt by their LA studio, a less ambitious title was mainly produced in Hampshire, England. Leon, Karl, Sean and new guest panellist Nick Parton weigh up the pros and cons of the finished piece, as well as trying to establish if the resulting story is canon, or indeed whether that even matters…

Music used in this issue:

2: Illusion in Me by Akira Yamaoka

Cane and Rinse 167 was edited by Sean O’Brien
