Michael Lyashenko is the founder of Tasharen Entertainment, the creators of Windward. A sole developer who created Windward using Unity, an engine he is extremely well versed in its use as he developed a third party front end for it. This actually distracted him away from creating Windward, but it did enable him to wield the engine with a tremendous amount of proficiency. The end result is the co-op role playing game Windward, which is a very different type of game in that genre as the player controls a single ship with some assistance from AI controlled allies as well as other players who can work together for a common goal.
