While at PAX East 2016 show host Chris ORegan encountered Legends of Callasia within the Indie Megabooth. Legends of Callasia is a strategic area control game that has players controlling empire building heroes. It is entirely icon driven and resembles games like Small World and Risk but plays very differently, thanks to the nature of increasing the player’s powers as they build their armies.
Chris O’Regan chats to Chris Natsuume of Boom Zap Games, the makers of Legends of Callasia about how the game came to be along with the challenges of making money in a very competitive realm that is video games.
