It’s so sad to see the podcast go! I’ve been binging archives rather than checking the feed and didn’t even realize this was the last episode until recently. 🙁
Thank you all so much for the wonderful tunes and thoughtful discussions!
Thank you for the kind words. Sound of Play may return in some form, some day in the future.
Didn’t realise this was the last podcast
I only started listening recently and so sad that this is the last one as I am loving the podcast
I would love you to do another Christmas Special episode this year if you get chance as I really enjoyed your last one
Damn just started rinsing the podcast wish it was still ongoing! Thanks for the entertainment all.
WHAT??? I thought this podcast was still going… I’m only on episode 30 something at the moment and I’m convinced it’s like the best games-related podcast of all time (and I while I wasn’t really wasn’t sold on the idea initially, one episode was all it took for me to love it in the end). A bunch of tunes from games across the ages with a bit of chit chat inbetween you say? Yeh, turns out it’s complete genius.
Well fortunately I still have 270ish episodes to listen to, and I will treasure each one knowing they are finite now.
Also, I have commented to myself over the weeks that this is exactly the kind of podcast you can eternally listen to: get to the end and start all over again cos it’s just so great!
Thanks for the kind words, Simon. Yes, unfortunately we had to bring the curtain down on Sound of Play.
We hope that you continue to enjoy the back catalogue anyway – no-one’s demanded that we take it down – yet…
